What is Orbari?

A personal relationship manager — think of it as a contacts app that remembers people, not just numbers. Keep the people who matter, log catch-ups, map how your family connects, and get a nudge when it's been too long.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up and no login. You open the app and start — your data lives on your device from the first second.

Is my data private?

Yes, by design. Orbari runs on Apple's on-device intelligence, so your notes and relationships never leave your devices to be processed. There's no Orbari server storing your data.

How does the "just talk" capture work?

When you speak or paste notes after a catch-up, Orbari uses Apple's on-device AI to pull out the people, dates, and details and file them for you — entirely on your device. AI-assisted capture needs an Apple Intelligence-capable device; you can always add and edit everything by hand on any device.

How does sync work?

Sync is optional and uses your own iCloud — nothing passes through us. You can also point Orbari at a folder (including an Obsidian vault) and it keeps clean Markdown files there.

What's free, and what's paid?

Orbari is free for up to 5 people, stored locally. A single one-time purchase unlocks unlimited people, private iCloud sync, Markdown export, and all app icons.

Is it a subscription?

No. It's a one-time purchase. Pay once, keep it forever — no subscription, no ads.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Orbari → Settings → Restore Purchase (or tap "Restore" on the unlock screen). Your purchase is tied to your Apple Account.

Can I get my data out?

Always. Export everything as plain Markdown any time — it's yours, in a format that outlives any app.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone, iPad, and Mac. One purchase covers all of them.

Sync isn't updating — what do I do?

Check Settings → Sync to confirm the iCloud/folder status, make sure the same Apple Account is signed in on each device, and give iCloud a moment to catch up. Still stuck? Send us a message below with your Orbari version and OS and we'll help.
